  • Alton Towers, UK’s leading theme park attraction
    Alton Towers Resort is a theme park and resort complex in Staffordshire, England, near the village of Alton.   • Ashbourne, one of Derbyshire’s finest old market towns
    With its winding cobbled streets, welcoming Market Place and handsome Tudor and Georgian heritage, picturesque Ashbourne is known as 'The Gateway to Dovedale'. While there's no doubt that it's the perfect base if you want to explore the spectacular limestone landscapes of the southern White Peak, it also pays to take a leisurely walking tour around town to immerse yourself in its fascinating history and architecture.   • Chatsworth House, home to the Duke of Devonshire
    The house, many of its contents and 737 hectares (1,822 acres) of the surrounding landscape are leased to a registered charity, the Chatsworth House Trust, established in 1981. The 12th Duke and Duchess pay rent to the charity to live at Chatsworth and work with the charity and others to welcome Chatsworth’s visitors. Every penny of visitor admission goes directly to the Chatsworth House Trust, which is dedicated to the long-term preservation of Chatsworth House, the collections, garden, woodlands and park for the long-term benefit of the public.   • Leek, a traditional market town with its own antiques quarter
    Leek is a market town and civil parish in the county of Staffordshire, England, on the River Churnet. It is situated about 10 miles north east of Stoke-on-Trent.   • The Roaches, Staffordshire Moorlands
    The Roaches is a prominent rocky ridge above Leek and Tittesworth Reservoir in the Staffordshire Peak District of England. The ridge with its rock formations rises steeply to 505 m. Along with Ramshaw Rocks and Hen Cloud they form a gritstone escarpment, which is popular with hikers, rock climbers and freerunners.   • Manifold Trial and Cycle Hire
    A National Park bike hire facility that enables visitors to enjoy the Manifold Track, at Hulme End. Based in the listed former station building in this attractive village, the facility is an ideal place to start exploring the Manifold Valley.   • The Peak District, the perfect location for walks
    The Peak District National Park is in central England. Steep limestone valleys like Dovedale, with its famed stepping stones, and Lathkill Dale characterise the park’s southern area, which is known as White Peak. North, the Dark Peak area has dramatic gritstone ridges and stark moorland plateaus like Kinder Scout, the park’s highest point.
